The Richmond Hill Center for Business Development (CBD) is a not for profit organization that has been established for the purpose of attracting International High-Tech companies seeking global expansion into the North American market with a specific emphasis on selecting Richmond Hill as a destination point.
The Richmond Hill Center for Business Development provides a new and innovative service that is designed to attract and assist high-tech companies (initially those from Israel), to conduct their Business Development & some of their R&D efforts here in Ontario – but with the critical value-added services that will help take them beyond the R&D phase and into full commercialization resulting in new local job creation and new revenue streams.
The “Center”, will provide actual hands-on assistance from subject matter experts in areas such as Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Identifying & Creating Strategic Partnerships, Managing Distribution Channels, Accounting, Finance etc. The Center will also assist in connecting these companies with Universities, Hospitals and other institutions for the purpose of continued research and product advancement.
The Center is currently actively engaged with several companies in the biomedical, renewable energy, and high tech security software sectors where it has identified local strategic partners and distributors with whom joint initiatives are already underway. Our strong connections and close collaboration with the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) in Israel and the Ontario Centre of Excellence (OCE) – here in Ontario ensures that we will continue to have early access to up-and-coming companies with new and innovative solutions.
